About Samantha Nestor
Samantha leads Chrysanthemum Partners, a strategic communications consulting business she co-founded with Christie Boyle in 2010. She advises domestic and international, and established and emerging luxury brands. Her background includes more than two decades of experience in real estate, design, arts, media, and not-for-profit work. Degrees in Art History and Communications from Cornell University led to positions at the New York Public Library, The Frick Collection, the New York Design Center, Elle Decor and Metropolitan Home Magazine. While she was an editor at Met Home Samantha also authored two books published by Random House titled The Luxury Bathroon and Living with Wine. In addition to work in the cultural arts sector Samantha also gives back to her local community as Weston, CT’s 2nd Selectman. Prior to her role on the Board of Selectman, she served as the Chair of the Communications Advisory Committee and as an elected member of the Board of Education. She and her husband, Michael, have two young boys and live in Weston, CT.
