Katrien Van der Schueren Brings Sculptural Furniture and Lighting to Club Venus at Salon Art + Design 2026

Belgian-born, Los Angeles-based sculptural artist Katrien Van der Schueren will present a selection of her sculptural works at Salon Art + Design 2026, November 4 -5, as part of Club Venus, an immersive café installation conceived by Maison Mischief, the creative destination founded by Katie and Ruben Gutierrez.

Drawing inspiration from the transformative effects of water and time, Club Venus reimagines the fair's café as an atmospheric environment where art, collectible design, and material exploration converge. Inspired by weathered surfaces, patina, and the fluidity of underwater landscapes, the installation features monumental fabric works by artist Gaya Arushanian alongside a curated selection of furnishings and lighting.
