IDEAL WORK, a specialist in innovative and customisable finishes, presents this light-filled Milanese flat, featuring Architop® surfaces.

In Milan, Studio Parasite 2.0 has transformed an apartment into a resolutely contemporary space, where materials and textures interact with precision. 

The focal point of this project is the use of the Architop® continuous concrete finish, developed by Ideal Work. Applied to the floors of the kitchen and dining room, Architop® lends a sleek, monolithic aesthetic. Its slightly textured surface captures natural light and enhances the perception of space, whilst providing visual continuity that unifies the different rooms. This choice of material reflects a desire to create a neutral and contemporary base, almost understated. The concrete, with its soft, mineral-like hue, acts as a sophisticated backdrop. In contrast, the other rooms in the flat feature natural wood parquet flooring, lending a warm feel. The combination of Ideal Work’s Architop® concrete and wood embodies a contemporary vision of home living: minimalist, sensitive and deeply rooted in materiality.
