Galerie Larock-Granoff

Founded in 1924 by the visionary gallerist Katia Granoff, Galerie Larock-Granoff embodies nearly a century of artistic commitment. This collaboration naturally aligns with a dynamic approach to promoting modern and contemporary art, in resonance with the singular history of the venue, located at 13 quai de Conti in Paris’s 6th arrondissement.

For almost a century, Galerie Larock-Granoff has distinguished itself through its ability to combine tradition and innovation. Created by Katia Granoff, one of the first female art dealers in France, it supported major 20th-century artists from its earliest days — from Marc Chagall to Claude Monet, as well as Othon Friesz, Amédée Ozenfant, and Jean Messagier — while also accompanying generations of contemporary artists.

Today, the gallery is led by the third and fourth generations of art dealers — Marc Larock, Edouard Larock, and his wife Gabrielle — who continue, with rigor and sensitivity, the pioneering spirit instilled at its origins, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to the diversity of artistic expression.

An Exacting Program and a Living Heritage

Over the decades, the gallery has developed an ambitious program reflecting both its heritage and its artistic vision. In 2024, it celebrated its centenary through a series of events highlighting both the major role of women artists and the unique history of this emblematic venue.

Faithful to its roots in the contemporary art scene, Galerie Larock-Granoff also takes part in major cultural events such as the Salon du Dessin, and curates thematic exhibitions that bring together historical and contemporary artists, thereby reaffirming the scope and continuity of its commitment in Paris and internationally.
