VERONESE

New collaboration with Veronese x Sandra Benhamou

Discover Ornella, the new sculptural creation by Sandra Benhamou for Veronese

Veronese and Sandra Benhamou share a common passion: Italian know-how and the art of living. The meeting between Ruben Jochimek, artistic director of Veronese, and Sandra Benhamou, interior designer, naturally gave birth to Ornella, a vintage-inspired Murano glass suspension.

With a passion for 1960s and 1970s design, Sandra Benhamou fell in love with vintage Corteccia, which is inspired by tree bark. Knowing that she wanted to create a vertical suspension, Benhamou selected crystal and amber shades of Murano glass to make Ornella a luminous sculpture, emitting a soft ambient light.

"This encounter with Veronese is marked by beautiful surprises. Guided by Ruben Jochimek, the exploration of the archive was a fascinating experience. The texture and colours of Corteccia's elements were an obvious inspiration for me. And when I discovered the final piece, like a sculpture of light, I was amazed by the finesse and excellence of the house's craftsmanship", Sandra Benhamou, interior designer
