Aguirre Design to Open Miami Showroom on September 17th, with a First Look at Poles Apart
Aguirre Design, the family-run, New York-based furniture and lighting design studio, will open its first Miami Showroom on September 17, marking the brand's first expansion outside New York City. This move highlights Miami's strategic position in the design market, as one of the key places where luxury projects are happening. Aguirre's sophisticated, elegant approach to design and unique craftsmanship will naturally fit into elevated South Florida projects.
The opening will offer guests an early look at "Poles Apart," Aguirre's newest collection of hand-cast bronze furniture and objects.
"Poles Apart" is rooted in contrast, and in the transitions between those contrasts. Across benches, daybeds, sofas, stools, and side tables, each cast-bronze piece moves between rough and polished, dark and luminous, weight and lightness, echoing how those extremes coexist in the natural world.
The collection continues the studio's exploration of texture and material transformation, and marks a shift from observation to transformation in the studio's design language.
